Clean rooms. Friendly front desk. Will stay here again in the future. We booked two. Each had two bedrooms with a king bed. Bedrooms are upstairs, kitchen and living room downstairs. Easy parking, short drive to down town, great value.
Stayed at chateau rouge for one night while travelling across the USA. Room: king size bed with kitchenette Check-in: 5/5 Our check in smoothly with prompt and courteous service throughout Parking: 5/5 The hotel had ample parking with no issues arising from not having a space available for our vehicle or our trailer. Room: 3/5 Our room was clean, and comfortable. Furnishings, carpet, and kitchen showing its age and is now a bit dated albeit functional. No AC but did have a fan. The bed: 5/5 The bed was comfortable with some great bedding on it. Nice heavy blankets with soft sheets. The pool/hot tub: N/A We didn’t have a chance to check this out due to it being closed when we were there. Overall: 4/5 Overall our stay at chateau rouge was decent. Given the availability and the price I’m not sure I would come and stay again, but if you’re looking for a location near downtown red lodge this would be a good option
I can't say enough good things about this place. The rooms were very comfortable huge and spotless. The beds were super comfortable and they had a great indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was super friendly and made this day that much better. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's one of the best places that I've stayed. The room was an incredible value and worth every cent. If you get a chance to stay here do it you will not be disappointed.
New property managers are amazing! (As of Fall 2024) This place has never been cleaner. Pool and hot tub were crystal clear. Common room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Perfect location right at the turn to head up to Red Lodge Mountain for skiing. Actual fireplaces in the condo side are the perfect ambiance for relaxing after skiing. Highly recommend unit 204 for families, 2 bedrooms, kid friendly property, just steps from the pool in a separate building. Was able to ski mornings and bring my littles back for nap and go back to the mountain. Walls between units are cinder block so you don’t hear ANYTHING from units next to you. Stayed several times and enjoyed seeing the deer and turkeys out the back door and even moose out the front! Excellent parking right in front of the unit,
This place has been amazing since we got here … we’ve stayed here many many times for many different occasions .. in the past , the rooms were not clean , with trash & smelt poorly … but we pushed through for our kids …. From the front desk how it use to smell like cat pee & not being able to use the front room .. to smelling amazing & full invite for games & lounging with the whole family in the front room… to entering our room , very clean & very comfy !!! The kids are already in the pool & we don’t have to worry about random non-hotel guest entering !!!! The new owners are absolutely friendly & comforting as well . Let us know if something wasn’t working or we see anything needing cleaned or fixed that they would be right down to fix it … I would recommend over & over again !!! We will enjoy our evening & we will absolutely be back in the future !
While it doesn’t seem like much, it’s cozy and very inviting. My room had a small leak, but it wasn’t too bad. The kitchen and fridge were a nice add on too. The office staff were nice and very accommodating. All in all, I would definitely come back and stay here.
Great accommodations with easy access to Beartooth Highway as well as downtown Red Lodge. The new managers are going above and beyond to make this place as welcoming as possible. Awesome condo. Front Desk was helpful and provided great recommendations. Can’t wait to visit again and stay in another one of their condos.
This was an ideal location to stay while riding at Red Lodge Mountain. A short drive to the mountain and a medium walk to town (20 min for both) Chateau Rouge is nicely situated. Townhouse 201 was very clean and quite cozy with dishes and most of the basics for cooking (recommend to bring your own spices, oil, etc if you plan anything more than frozen dinners or reheating). It was awesome having so much space to sprawl out! The hot tub experience was deluxe after a day ripping around the hill, and the beds absolute heaven. Would love to stay for a week! Managers were very nice, respectful, and very responsive.
